Big Bellied Seahorses
A trio of male Australian big-bellied seahorses (Hippocampus abdominalis) vie for the attention of a female seahorse at Living Coasts, Torquay, Devon. The female seahorse picks the male with the biggest belly.
Fun fact: The male seahorse carries the eggs in his belly until they hatch, giving birth to ~500 babies at a time. These seahorses are also monogamous, staying with the same mate for life.
